The gist of the Four Monthly Meeting held with Chief PMG today at CO is furnished for information of all members. Sri. Ajith Kurian, CS and Sri. T.M.Krishnaswamy, President represented the Association.
Item No. 1- Split duty hours for postmasters of ASP cadre in CR.
Reply: Orders imposing split duty hours in CR have been revoked by PMG (CR) and item stands settled.

Reply- In Tamilnadu where orders as pointed out by the Association has been issued, the same has been run into audit objection on the ground that such instructions can be made applicable only for officers coming under C&AG. Hence, similar orders cannot be issued in Kerala Circle. Nevertheless, the grievience highlighted being genuine, the matter will be taken up with Directorate.
Item No.3- Reimbursement of Mobile charges for IPs/ASPs
Reply- In TN, enhanced amount was given based on the achievement of targets by all the IPs/ASPs. As such, a decision in this regard can only be taken based on the performance of the IPs/ASPs. Prospects for introducing CUG plan among the IPs/ASPs will be examined.
While discussing some issues of transfer informally, it was informed by Chief PMG that request transfers of IPs/ASPs will be considered only after assessing the performance of the officers.
