As already announced, the 42nd Biennial Circle Conference and CWC of our Association is to be held at Michaels Land Resort, Kannamali Kochi on 10th & 11th May-2014. Pre-conference CWC will be held on 10th afternoon and General Body and Open Session on the 11th. All the Association Office bearers and CWC Members are requested to be present at the venue at 12.00 hrs on the 10th as lunch is being arranged at the venue. CWC will commence soon after the lunch. Those members who propose to stay at the venue on the 10th are also requested to join us either in the afternoon or by evening. They are also requested to inform about their stay in advance to the conveners (Sri. Padmakumar & Sri. Anto).
Michaels Land Resort is located in a small island at Kannamali covering about 13 acres presenting a peaceful and relaxing ambiance with stunning panoramic scenery. Kannmali is at a distance of about 18 Kms from Ernakulam, 10 kms from Thoppumpady and 12 kms from Fort Kochi. The resort is located near St. Josephs Pilgrim Church, Kannamali. Just 100 meters over the bride adjacent to the church, sign board of the resort can be seen on the left side and the jetty steps. Boats will take the visitors to Michaels Land from the Jetty. Members coming by car can park their vehicles at this point and proceed to the Island.
Association is arranging pick up for those members coming by train on 11th morning. The van will depart from Ernakulam South Railway Station at 10.30 hrs on 11.5.14. All those who propose to come by train both from Thrissur side and also from TVM are requested to make use of this facility. Similarly, after the conclusion of the programme on 11th evening also (16.00 hours) conveyance will be arranged from the venue to the Ernakulam South RS. Other Members coming during other timings can reach the venue by bus from either Ernakulam South or from Thoppumpady. They can make use of buses plying to Kannamali and Chellanam.
Considering the elaborate arrangements being made for conducting the Conference, all members are requested to take a couple of days off from their busy schedules and attend the Circle Conference so as to make this a memorable event. Apart from your contributions, your presence will truly make this venture a success.....
