All India CWC at Trivandrum- an event to cherish

The All India Central Working Committee Meeting was held at 'T.M.Krishnaswamy Nagar' (Hotel the Capital) Trivandrum on the 25th and 26th July 2015. Delegates from 17 Circles participated in the much awaited conference in the Gods Own Country. CWC which commenced at 10.00 hrs on 25.7.15 by paying homage to Sri. T.M.Krishnaswamy who left us for heavenly abode and followed by  welcome address by our President Sri. R.Venunathan Pillai saw serious discussions and deliberations on all the topics of the agenda. The official meeting came to an end at 19.00 hours with the vote of thanks by our former CS Sri. Ajith Kurian. The official session was followed by a gala dinner and variety entertainment programme wherein our Chief PMG Sri. A.N.Nanda, DPS(HQ) Sri. Thomas Lourduraj and other Divisional Heads and officers joined. Our members Sri. Rajeev and Rajkumar along with Sri. Ramesan entertained the gathering with their melodious songs. The next day saw a one day city tour organised for the guests covering almost all the major tourist spots in the city in a double decker bus as part of the heritage tourism scheme of KSRTC.

The CWC hosted by our Circle for the first time saw unprecedented appreciation coming in from all quarters for the way in which we had organized the whole show. All the Circles expressed the view that the arrangements made were excellent and unique. GS himself in his speech remarked that he had never seen such a well arranged programme for over two decades. Many of the delegates commented that they felt truly blessed and privileged to be part of such an excellent and well organized event and they felt proud to be a  member of our Association.

I would like to place on record my heartfelt gratitude to all the members of Kerala Circle for having made this event a grand success. It was our team work which made this event a one to cherish. Special thanks goes out to all the members in and around Trivandrum, especially to our former CS Sri. Ajith Kurian who was the main coordinator of the whole event. I am also grateful to our Chief PMG, DPS(HQ) and all other officers who had accepted our invitation and attended our programme. The support given by the Manager and Staff of Hotel the Capital is also to be appreciated. We all hope that the event was a memorable one for all those who attended and they enjoyed it as much as we did hosting the event.
