Regulation of journeys by Private Airlines while availing LTC
Government had earlier in the month of July 2009 issued orders restricting all kinds of Air Travel including LTC by AIR India.
Now Dept of Personnel & Training in OM no 31011/2/2006-Estt(A) dated 11-03-10 has clarified that the restriction of Travel by Air India only need not applicable to those officials who are not entitled to Air Travel but travel by Air and claim LTC reimbursement for entitled class of rail.
