Our Association had raised the issue of enhancing the limit of verification
of SB withdrawals at Single Handed SOs and BOs. Accordingly, the issue was discussed with Secretary (Posts) during the course of last visit to
Directorate by the GS. Directorate has now vide SB order No. 2/2013 dated 26/2/2013 enhanced the limit of verification of withdrawal at Single Handed Post
Office and BOs from Rs.5000 to Rs 10,000 from 1.3.2013.
