Our CS Sri.S.Nandakumar and our former CS Sri. Ajith Kurian represented our Association in the Four monthly meeting held on 5.6.15 at CO. The staff side consisted of Chief PMG, DPS(HQ), PMG(CR), PMG(NR) & DPS(CR). The gist of the items raised and answers furnished is as follows:
Item No.1:Regular and Adhoc promotion
of IPs to ASP cadre
Consequent
on promotion of 13 ASPs to the cadre of PS Group B on regular basis and the retirement of PSS group B officers during the
year, many of the ASPs posts are become vacant on regular and adhoc basis . some of the IPs are
working as ASPs on adhoc basis for more
than 2 years and they have not yet been
regularised .Eligible IPs may be considered for regular and adhoc promotion to
the cadre of ASP.
Ans: Chief PMG assured that prompt action will be taken in this regard. Those who were technically reverted has been given adhoc promotion again and orders stands issued in this regard. All vacant ASP/Group B posts will be filled up without any delay.
Item No.2: PLI and RPLI incentive is not being given for IPs/ASPs.
There has been huge pendency in this regard in almost all the Divisions which needs to be addressed on top priority. While incentives for other cadres is being sanctioned promptly, cases of IPs/ASPs are badly delayed.
Ans: Incentive will be sanctioned as per availability of funds.
Item No.3:Training to IP/ASPs on technology and
application software of the department
There is a need to impart training in Departmental softwares and also new new
technology initiatives of the department across the cadre in a phased manner.
Ans: Training programme will be chalked out utilizing the Divisional Training Centres.
