In continuation of the Trade Union Rights workshop held at Kovalam during end-May, 2012, PSI is conducting a follow-up Workshop on Trade Union Rights from the 6th to 8th September 2012 at Cochin. Six members (3 male & 3 female) have been invited from our Association.
PSI-South with the support of LO/TCO Sweden has been running a running a project since 2009 in different parts of India for getting legal trade union rights for the government employees organizations. This workshop would be looking at the Trade union rights situation in the country with emphasis on the government employees and plan for campaigns to be run by our Association in this regard.
Accommodation on twin sharing basis will be provided along with full boarding and reimbursement of travel charges [upto 3 AC train charges, on production of both way tickets].The participants can plan to arrive on the 5th evening /6th morning and leave on the 8th evening.The venue would be intimated soon.
Members who wish to participate in the said workshop may give their names to the CS before 24.8.12.
